Spark is in the process of opening a significant number of modern car wash locations throughout NJ, NY, and PA. Chief of Staff (CoS) to the VP of Growth Summary :

As we scale Spark Car Wash, were hiring a high-impact Chief of Staff to the Vice President of Growth to support our marketing, HR, and corporate strategy functions. This is a unique opportunity to help build a category-defining company in one of the most exciting sectors in consumer-focused private equity. The express car wash industry is experiencing strong tailwinds and attracting significant investmentand Spark is uniquely positioned to lead the space in one of the highest-potential, whitespace-rich regions in the country.

Backed by substantial equity from a recently closed Series C and committed debt partners, Spark has the capital, leadership, and momentum to scale aggressively. As Chief of Staff, youll be at the center of that journeyowning mission-critical initiatives that drive both revenue and headcount growth. From launching customer acquisition strategies to building scalable people infrastructure, youll help 10x both store-level performance and team size over the next few years.

Youll work directly with experienced leaders from AEA Investors, Bain & Company, Lidl, Wawa, and CVS, gaining full exposure to what it takes to scale a high-growth, customer-centric business. This is not just a high-responsibility roleits a front-row seat in building a platform business with the team, capital, and strategy to win.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead customer engagement initiatives to drive customer LTV
  • Measure channel-level LTV, ROAS, CAC, metrics to optimize channel efficiency
  • Share Voice of Customer insights to highlight opportunities to improve customer experience
  • Codify and improve store launch and local engagement playbooks
  • Own the Monthly Business Plan Review scorecard process
  • Scale the people development engine across the Corporate and Operations organizations
  • Create and action against HR KPI dashboards
  • Create board and investor-level presentations
  • Lead annual vendor evaluation process and scoping of new vendors as needed
  • Optimize existing cross-functional corporate processes through SOPs and tool implementation
  • Flexibility and willingness to engage in all tasks as required by the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a high-level, time-sensitive environment (management consulting, business operations, corporate strategy, other chief of staff role highly preferred)
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • An ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, and lean environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Microsoft Excel / Project Management Tools
  • Team player with a can do attitude
