Commissioning Specialist - 633931

Location: Brentwood, TN (Hybrid)

We’re looking for a Commissioning Specialist to support a range of projects—from smaller, independent assignments to more complex efforts under the guidance of senior Project Managers and Commissioning Agents. This role offers the chance to develop and grow your technical skills across the full commissioning process, from design review through functional testing and closeout.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform or assist in all phases of building commissioning: creating commissioning plans, conducting design reviews, tracking job progress, completing pre-functional and functional performance testing, and producing final reports
• Work independently or as part of a team depending on project complexity
• Gain hands-on experience across systems and project types

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of progressive experience in MEP design, construction administration, building operations, commissioning, test and balance, or controls
• Working knowledge of building codes, procurement processes, and design development
• Commissioning certification preferred (e.g., ACG CxT, CxA, or similar)
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• LEED accreditation a plus
• Solid technical skills, including relevant computer/network knowledge
• Willingness and ability to travel

• HVAC and plumbing systems
• Building automation and controls
• Fire alarm and life safety systems
• Lighting and lighting controls
• Emergency and backup power systems
• Low voltage systems
• Renewable energy systems
