HR Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant with a strong background in employee benefits administration to join our Human Resources team. This role will support day-to-day HR operations with a focus on benefits coordination, employee support, and compliance. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and eager to grow within a collaborative HR environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, FSA/HSA, and 401(k)
  • Support the annual open enrollment process, including employee communications, system updates, and vendor coordination
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and procedures in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure timely updates for benefits changes, life events, and terminations
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including benefits enrollment and exit documentation
  • Assist with benefits-related reporting, audits, and compliance documentation
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team including filing, data entry, and scheduling
