Wirtz Law is seeking a full-time litigation attorney to join California’s best consumer protection firm. At Wirtz Law, you will take on the world’s largest multi-national automakers and distributors to fight for your clients’ rights. If selected, you will be part of a growing, vibrant, exciting, passionate, collegial, and diverse trial team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Written discovery
• Depositions
• Law and motion work
• Court appearances
• Trial preparation and skill-level based Trial participation

Associates get to do real attorney work like taking and defending depositions, negotiating with opposing counsel to obtain all necessary evidence for trial, working with clients, and making court appearances. Qualifications:

We look for candidates with:

• Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school
• 1-3+ years experience
• Competency with the California Code of Civil Procedure and California Civil Litigation practice, strategies, and discovery tools
• Eagerness to gain expertise in the niche and ever-changing practice area of California Lemon Law
• Desire to represent individual plaintiffs against multi-national automakers
• General knowledge about the automotive industry is not necessary
• Desire to have fun being a litigator and work hard to advocate for California consumers
• Bilingual Spanish a plus

A successful Wirtz Law attorney will be motivated, self-directed, intellectually curious, and will exercise good discretion and judgment. Having common sense, top research, writing and oral communication skills, reliability, and an ability to work under deadlines are expected. The Wirtz Law team thrives on accountability. Compensation:

• Competitive pay ($130,000 - $190,000 - depending on experience)
• 96 Hours of Vacation
