About the Role
The Company is in search of dedicated individuals to join its board of directors. The ideal candidates will be passionate about climate change education and the involvement of youth in climate action. The board plays a crucial role in advising, overseeing policy and direction, and promoting the organization's mission. Board members are expected to be familiar with the organization's bylaws, actively participate in board meetings, and contribute to the strategic direction of the company. Additionally, board members serve as public ambassadors, expanding the company's network and supporting its work in the community. Prior board leadership experience and skills in fundraising, nonprofit financial literacy, management, or communications are highly valued. Board members are required to make a personal financial contribution to the organization, attend monthly meetings, and support two major events each year. The commitment to the company's mission and a willingness to be actively involved in its activities are essential for all board members.
