INDUSTRIAL PAINTER

Position Type: Long Term Temporary Position
Position Shift: 1st Shift , 6:00am - 2:30pm

Position Location: Toledo, Ohio

Position Salary: $18.00-$20.00 (Based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming in preparation for painting
• Apply paint, lacquer, or other protective coatings to industrial products and equipment using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
• Ensure consistent and even coverage of paint or coatings
• Perform touch-ups and minor repairs to painted surfaces as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols
• Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and quality targets

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in industrial painting or a related field
• Proficiency in the use of painting tools and equipment, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Forklift Experience Preferred

Working Conditions

This position is based in a controlled, indoor manufacturing environment. The work may involve standing for extended periods, lifting and moving materials, and exposure to paint fumes and other chemicals. A flexible schedule, including occasional overtime, may be required to meet production demands.
