Job Description

We are actively searching for a Lead or Senior Project Manager with at least 5 years of commercial construction experience with one or more of the following core markets: healthcare, tilt, light industrial, ground up and large commercial. This person will have direct oversight of a large project pipeline with some of the most well-respected healthcare clients in the Nashville area. You will not be limited to this market alone as this is a long-term opportunity with the ability to pivot into different market segments. Position Overview:

This mid-senior level position will be responsible for all phases of project delivery and contribute to the company's development and client satisfaction.

  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy
  • Oversees total construction efforts to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, quality, safety and schedule requirements
  • Participate in project management team to manage interior buildout of new hospital tower construction
  • Coordinate with field supervisors in management of subcontractors, schedule, quality, and safety
  • Initiates and serves as liaison with Owner and design team contacts to facilitate construction activities
  • Monitors/controls construction administration through direction of on-site staff to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget
  • Manage financial aspects of the project – Contract Changes, Project Cost Control, Cost Projections, Pay Applications
  • Develops procedures and provides opportunities to resolve conflicts as they arise
  • Develops sources and follows up on opportunities for future business
  • Manages interior buildout buyout process which includes preparing bid package(s), facilitating and evaluating subcontractor proposals, formalizing recommendations to Owner, and negotiating subcontracts.
  • Oversees maintenance of official project logs and documentation files
  • Participates in safety programs
  • Provides direction to planning and scheduling functions as required

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Lead or Senior Project Manager overseeing large commercial projects with a commercial General Contractor.
  • Experience with large healthcare/hospital work is a major plus.
  • Experience with ground-up commercial projects valued at $30M+.
  • Thorough understanding of industry practices, processes, standards, etc.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with proven ability to lead a project team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficient in latest construction software
